New Delhi : Multiple schools in the national capital received bomb threats on Saturday morning, prompting panic and an immediate response from police and bomb disposal units, officials said.
The institutions reporting the threats include Delhi Public School (DPS) in Dwarka, Krishna Model Public School, and Sarvodaya Vidyalaya. Police and bomb disposal squads were deployed to the campuses, and students and staff were evacuated as a precautionary measure.
“We are conducting thorough searches of the premises. So far, nothing suspicious has been found,” a senior police officer said, noting that search operations are ongoing at the affected schools.
Authorities are investigating the origin of the threats and whether they were part of a coordinated effort to incite panic, police added.
