JAMMU: Nineteen paragliding pilots from Jammu departed for Himachal Pradesh on Saturday to attend an advanced course in the adventure sport, officials said.
The Jammu Directorate of Tourism is sponsoring the participants for the P4 paragliding course, organized in collaboration with the Atal Bihari Institute of Mountaineering, Manali, a spokesperson said.
Scheduled from September 20 to October 27, the course will be conducted in three phases and aims to provide advanced training and skill development to the pilots, the official added.
