RAJOURI: Under the close supervision of Deputy Commissioner Abhishek Sharma, the District Administration Rajouri has so far disbursed ₹6.19 crore in relief to families affected by property damages caused by recent heavy rainfall.
To ensure timely assistance and minimize public inconvenience, the Deputy Commissioner constituted dedicated assessment teams to verify claims promptly. Acting on their reports, relief distribution has been carried out on a war-footing basis, allowing beneficiaries to receive support without repeated visits to government offices.
All assessment teams worked diligently under the supervision of ADCs, ensuring fairness and transparency throughout the process. Citizens promptly reported damages to the district control room, following which teams were immediately deployed for on-ground assessment, facilitating swift disbursal of aid.
The Deputy Commissioner reaffirmed the administration’s commitment to provide speedy and transparent relief to all eligible families, emphasizing a people-centric and proactive approach with the welfare of the public as the foremost priority.
