GANDERBAL: At least five people were injured when their vehicle collided with another near the Zojila Pass on Monday, officials reported.
According to authorities, the injured were initially taken to PHC Sonamarg and later referred to SKIMS Soura for specialized treatment.
The injured include Manzoor Hussain, son of Sadiq Ali Balti; Shabir Hussain, son of Hussain Ali Balti; Sadiqa Bano, wife of Manzoor Hussain Balti; Masrat Zara, daughter of Manzoor Hussain; and Fareeda Bano, daughter of Moad Hussain—all residents of Kargil.
Police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
