SRINAGAR: Islamia College of Science and Commerce, Srinagar, in collaboration with Police Station Nowhatta, successfully organized a ‘Unity Run’ to mark the 150th birth anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.
The event, which began at the college sports field and passed through Hawal and Gojwara Chowk, Srinagar, saw the enthusiastic participation of around 150 students and police personnel, all coming together to promote harmony, unity, and fitness.
Leading the run, Principal Prof. (Dr) Tehmina Yousuf was joined by NSS and NCC officers, along with the Convenor of Hostel and Sports & Physical Education Department. Their active involvement added inspiration and energy to the event.
The Unity Run aimed to encourage national integration and physical well-being among youth and the community, reflecting the shared commitment of the college and local law enforcement to peace, solidarity, and civic engagement.
