Akhnoor: The Indian Army recently conducted an Ayush Medical Camp under the Swasth Naari Sashakt Parivaar Abhiyaan at Nardi Bala Higher Secondary School, Nardi Bala, Akhnoor. The camp featured participation from doctors of the Ayurvedic Hospital, Jammu, alongside Indian Army medical personnel.
The initiative focused on raising awareness about lifestyle disease prevention and promoting a holistic approach to women’s and children’s health through natural methods. A total of 168 women and 80 female students benefited from the camp.
Beyond healthcare, the program strengthened ties between the local community and the Indian Army, fostering mutual respect and understanding. The success of the camp underscores the Army’s dedication not only to security but also to community welfare and public health. Encouraged by its positive impact, locals have expressed interest in more such health initiatives, highlighting the Army’s vital role in supporting the well-being of society.
