Rajouri: As part of its ongoing welfare initiatives for Ex-Servicemen (ESM) families, the Indian Army organized a Career Counselling Lecture for the children of ESMs at Budhal, District Rajouri. The session aimed to guide students on diverse career opportunities, competitive examinations, vocational training, and higher education pathways. Special focus was placed on preparation strategies, awareness of government schemes, skill development programs, and career prospects in both civil and defence sectors.
Conducted under the Army’s outreach program, the initiative underscores its commitment to the holistic development of youth in border and remote areas. The lecture was warmly received by the children and ESM families, who expressed their gratitude for the Army’s continued support and guidance. This effort highlights the Army’s dedication to empowering the younger generation, inspiring them to contribute to nation-building, and strengthening the bond between the Army and the local community.
