BANDIPORA: The Enforcement Wing of the Motor Vehicles Department carried out an extensive drive across the district today, inspecting over 200 vehicles. During the operation, 46 vehicles—including HMVs, LMVs, and others—were fined, resulting in a total collection of Rs 74,000 for various traffic violations.
The drive was overseen by the Assistant Regional Transport Officer (ARTO) Bandipora, who emphasized that such enforcement campaigns will continue to promote road safety and strict compliance with traffic rules.
ARTO also urged vehicle owners and drivers to adhere to all traffic regulations and maintain up-to-date documents to avoid penalties and ensure smooth traffic flow.
