Cairo: The Gaza Health Ministry reported on Sunday that over 66,000 Palestinians have died in the ongoing Israel-Hamas conflict.
According to the ministry’s daily update, the death toll has reached 66,005, with an additional 168,162 people injured since Hamas launched its attack on October 7, 2023. In the past 24 hours, 79 fatalities were recorded among patients brought to hospitals.
Meanwhile, Israel’s military continued its operations in Gaza as Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu visited Washington, where he is scheduled to meet US President Donald Trump on Monday.
