Islamabad: Two relief flights from China arrived in Pakistan on Sunday, delivering essential supplies to families displaced by recent floods, ARY News reported.

The shipments included 300 tents and 9,000 blankets, aimed at supporting the most affected communities.

A formal reception was held for the aid, attended by Federal Minister Engr. Amir Muqam, NDMA Chairman Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik, Chinese Ambassador Jiang Zaidong, and officials from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA).

Chairman NDMA Lt Gen Inam Haider Malik lauded China for its continued support, stating that the aid reaffirms its role as Pakistan’s steadfast friend by providing timely relief to flood-affected communities. The assistance will supplement NDMA’s ongoing relief efforts in Punjab.
