Mumbai: Veteran actor Neetu Kapoor has shared a heartfelt birthday wish for her son, Ranbir Kapoor.
Taking to Instagram, Neetu posted a sweet picture featuring herself, Ranbir, and Alia Bhatt, capturing a warm family moment. “Happy birthday my love. So grateful and blessed to have you,” she wrote.
Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, also marked the occasion with a series of pictures. One included a rare childhood photo of Ranbir and Riddhima with their parents, the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor, along with the caption: “To the rockstar of our family. Happy Birthday Rans. Love you.”
In another post from Ranbir’s pre-wedding celebrations, Riddhima shared a memory accompanied by Neil Diamond’s Sweet Caroline, writing: “Happy birthday Rans, love you! This song brings back so many memories.” She also offered a glimpse of Ranbir’s birthday eve celebrations, featuring a cozy family gathering where he cut a cake with his aunt Rima Jain, who shares the same birthday.
On the professional front, Ranbir will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. This marks Ranbir’s first collaboration with Bhansali since his 2007 debut, Saawariya. While Vicky Kaushal is a first-time collaborator with the filmmaker, Alia Bhatt previously worked with Bhansali in the 2022 drama Gangubai Kathiawadi. Ranbir will also portray Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s highly anticipated two-part epic, Ramayana.
He was last seen in a cameo role on the Netflix show The Ba**ds of Bollywood*.
