Mumbai: Bollywood actor Ranbir Kapoor turned 43 on Sunday, September 28, marking another milestone in his celebrated career.
In a heartfelt message, Ranbir thanked his fans and well-wishers for their birthday greetings. Shared on the Instagram handle of his lifestyle brand ARKS, the actor said in a video, “Hi, I want to take this moment to say thank you to all of you for all the love and wishes coming on my birthday. I am 43 years old today, as you can see a lot of grey in my beard. It keeps increasing year by year. A lot of gratitude in my heart for my family, my friends, for my work, and mostly for all of you. Thank you so much for making me feel so special.”
While Ranbir expressed his gratitude, it was his daughter, Raha Kapoor, who stole the spotlight. In the background, a child’s voice could be heard, leaving fans convinced the father-daughter duo were celebrating together.
Earlier, Ranbir’s mother, Neetu Kapoor, shared a heartwarming birthday wish on Instagram, posting a picture of herself with Ranbir and Alia Bhatt. She wrote, “Happy birthday my love. So grateful and blessed to have you.”
Ranbir’s sister, Riddhima Kapoor Sahni, also joined the celebrations, sharing a collection of photos including a rare childhood picture with their parents, the late Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor. She captioned it, “To the rockstar of our family. Happy Birthday Rans. Love you.”
On the professional front, Ranbir will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love and War’, co-starring Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. He is also set to portray Lord Ram in Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part epic ‘Ramayana’. Recently, he made a cameo in the Netflix series ‘The Ba*ds of Bollywood.’**
