CANBERRA: Kanika Siwach’s decisive strike helped the Indian junior women’s hockey team secure a 1-0 win against the Australia U21 side in their third match of the ongoing tour on Monday.
Siwach found the net in the 32nd minute at the National Hockey Centre, breaking the deadlock after a goalless first half. Her excellent field goal early in the third quarter proved enough to seal the victory for India.
