New Delhi: The Indian Institute of Management (IIM), Jammu, on Monday signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL) to collaborate on executive education, research, consultancy, case study development, and capacity-building initiatives, an official statement said.
The agreement establishes a broad framework for collaboration, including customised and open management development programs, faculty exchanges, joint research projects, student engagement through internships and industry visits, and co-hosting of conferences and case competitions, the statement added.
The MoU was signed by Sanjay Dhar, Officiating Executive Director (Human Resources – Learning & Development) at SAIL’s Management Training Institute in Ranchi, and Kesavan Baskkaran, Chief Administrative Officer of IIM Jammu, in the presence of several officials.
The partnership underscores IIM Jammu’s commitment to fostering leadership excellence and nation-building, while reflecting SAIL’s focus on continuous learning and capability enhancement for its executives, further strengthening its position as a centre of management excellence, the statement said.
