Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India]: The song “Tum Mere Na Huye” from the upcoming film Thamma, starring Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna, has been released.
The track features vocals by Madhubanti Bagchi and the composer duo Sachin-Jigar, with lyrics penned by Amitabh Bhattacharya. Fans can watch the official music video on Universal Music India’s YouTube channel: Watch Here.
Recently, the film’s trailer was unveiled, generating widespread excitement. The two-minute, twenty-four-second trailer provides a sneak peek into the vampire-themed love story between Rashmika Mandanna and Ayushmann Khurrana.
The trailer begins with Nawazuddin Siddiqui’s character, Thamma, revealing his plan to create a vampire army to dominate humanity. However, his scheme takes a twist when he is captured and imprisoned in a cave for 1,000 years. Ayushmann’s character unexpectedly encounters Nawazuddin, leading to his transformation into a vampire. Rashmika is then seen carrying Ayushmann on her back, adding a romantic and adventurous angle to the narrative.
Ayushmann’s vampire abilities, including superhuman jumps and moving cars effortlessly, are showcased in the trailer.
Thamma is produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, with the screenplay written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara. The film also features veteran actor Paresh Rawal and is scheduled for release on Diwali 2025.
