LG Sinha Urges Youth to Drive India’s Development and Innovation
JAMMU: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha attended the valedictory function of “Viksit Bharat Ke Rang – Kala Ke Sang” in Jammu, addressing school and college students. The vibrant art workshop was organized by the Indira Gandhi National Centre for Arts (IGNCA) in collaboration with the Divisional Administration, Jammu.
Commending the Yuva Shakti of Jammu and Kashmir, the Lieutenant Governor urged the youth to act as catalysts for change. “This event is unique, providing an opportunity for young minds to imagine and depict the India of their dreams,” he said. “The responsibility of creating a developed India, not only on canvas but in reality, lies in their hands.”
Highlighting the government’s commitment to youth empowerment under Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said, “Sewa Parv is preparing our young population to face future challenges with a positive mindset. Their creative and constructive spirit will shape them into future leaders, innovators, and builders who will drive India’s growth trajectory.”



LG Sinha called upon the youth to embrace leadership roles, set clear goals for nation-building, and actively contribute to societal growth. He emphasized their role in preserving cultural values, fostering innovation, and uniting against forces that seek to destabilize the country.
The Lieutenant Governor felicitated students who excelled in the program and encouraged making this initiative a regular feature. The event was attended by MP Shri Jugal Kishore Sharma; Prof. Umesh Rai, Vice Chancellor of the University of Jammu; Shri Ramesh Kumar, Divisional Commissioner Jammu; Shri Bhim Sen Tuti, IGP Jammu; Dr. Rakesh Minhas, Deputy Commissioner Jammu; Ms. Shruti Awasthi, Regional Director, IGNCA; senior officials; heads of educational institutions; and a large gathering of youth.
