Srinagar: Hurriyat Conference chairman Mirwaiz Umar Farooq on Tuesday welcomed US President Donald Trump’s 20-point plan aimed at resolving the conflict in Palestine, while emphasizing the need for a just solution to end decades of occupation.
He expressed hope that the plan would bring justice and freedom to the Palestinian people.
“While President Trump’s 20-point plan is a welcome initiative, as it seeks to end the war and atrocities against Palestinians, the people of Palestine need a fair resolution that ends occupation and decades of suffering,” Mirwaiz said in a post on X.
“Let us hope it leads to justice, dignity, and freedom for the Palestinian people,” he added.
