Rajouri: A soldier sustained injuries in an accidental firearm incident in Rajouri district, Jammu division, on Wednesday.
Sources reported that the accident occurred while the soldier was cleaning his weapon, resulting in a chest injury. He was immediately taken to a hospital, where his condition is reported to be stable.
Authorities have taken cognizance of the incident, and a formal investigation has been launched.
