Mumbai: Author and former actress Twinkle Khanna was seen offering prayers on Tuesday at the prestigious 79th North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja.
Twinkle was all smiles as she reunited with friends Kajol and Rani Mukerji at the pandal, and the trio posed for photographs together.
Later in the evening, actor Priyanka Chopra also visited the same pandal to seek blessings. Dressed in a royal blue suit, Priyanka radiated desi vibes while offering prayers to Goddess Durga. In the pictures captured by photographers, the ‘Mary Kom’ star could be seen greeting devotees warmly at the pandal.
On Monday, actor Ranbir Kapoor was also spotted paying his respects at the 79th North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja. Sporting traditional attire, Ranbir looked every bit the desi munda in a blue kurta paired with white pyjamas.
Durga Puja, also known as Durgotsava or Sharodotsava, is a significant Hindu festival celebrated annually to honour Goddess Durga and her victory over Mahishasur. According to Hindu mythology, the goddess visits her earthly abode during this time to bless her devotees.
