Mumbai: Festivals feel even more special when celebrated with family, and this Durga Puja, Bollywood stars are embracing the festive spirit alongside their loved ones.
On Wednesday, actor Ajay Devgn joined his wife Kajol and daughter Nysa at the 79th North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja. For the occasion, Ajay chose a traditional look, arriving at the pandal in a green kurta. The family posed for pictures together, including Kajol, Nysa, sister-in-law Tanisha, brother-in-law Ayan, and nephews Danish and Aaman Devgan.
Earlier, on Tuesday, Priyanka Chopra took a break from her busy schedule to visit a Durga Puja pandal. Dressed in a royal blue suit, Priyanka embraced the festive vibes as she offered prayers to Goddess Durga. Paparazzi captured her interacting warmly with devotees, while she also met Kajol’s sister Tanisha and filmmaker Ayan Mukerji during her visit.
Durga Puja, also called Durgotsava or Sharodotsava, is an annual Hindu festival celebrating Goddess Durga’s triumph over the demon Mahishasura. According to Hindu mythology, the goddess visits her earthly abode during this time to bless her devotees. The festival concludes on Vijayadashami (Dussehra), marking the goddess’s victory and the triumph of good over evil.
