Hrithik Roshan pays respects at Durga Puja pandal and greets ‘War 2’ director Ayan Mukerji

Mumbai: Bollywood star Hrithik Roshan visited the 79th North Bombay Sarbojanin Durga Puja 2025 on Wednesday to seek blessings.

At the prestigious pandal, Hrithik met his War 2 director, Ayan Mukerji. The duo offered prayers together and posed for photographs.

Skipping traditional attire, Hrithik opted for a casual look, wearing a crisp white shirt paired with matching pants and a white cap, exuding effortless cool.

Earlier, actress Alia Bhatt also visited the same pandal to offer her prayers. Dressed in a stunning lehenga, she drew admiration from fellow devotees.

Alia’s visit became even more memorable when she greeted Rani Mukerji with a warm hug. The two shared a joyful moment and posed for photos, joined by Ayan Mukerji and Tanisha Mukerji in a cheerful group shot.

Durga Puja, also known as Durgotsava or Sharodotsava, is an annual festival celebrating the Hindu goddess Durga and her victory over the demon Mahishasura. According to Hindu mythology, the goddess visits her earthly abode during this time to bless her devotees.

The festival culminates on Vijayadashami (Dussehra), the tenth day, which marks Goddess Durga’s triumph over Mahishasura.
