Hyderabad: Actors Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna are reported to have gotten engaged in a private ceremony attended by their families, according to sources.
However, there has been no official confirmation from either Vijay or Rashmika, and neither has shared any photos from the event.
Sources say the engagement took place yesterday at 11:15 AM at Vijay Deverakonda’s residence in Hyderabad. The couple’s wedding is reportedly planned for February 2026.
The two, who are rumored to be dating, have previously worked together in films like Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade.
Rashmika Mandanna rose to pan-India fame with the Telugu action hit Pushpa: The Rise (2021). She also appeared in the period drama Sita Ramam (2022) and played the lead in the Tamil film Varisu (2023). Her recent successes include the action dramas Animal (2023) and Pushpa 2: The Rule (2024), as well as the historical action film Chhaava (2025).
She will next be seen in Thamma, produced by Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik under Maddock Films, and written by Niren Bhatt, Suresh Mathew, and Arun Fulara. The film, which also stars Ayushmann Khurrana, is slated for a Diwali 2025 release.
Vijay Deverakonda was last seen in the spy action thriller Kingdom, written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. Rashmika recently gave him a heartfelt shoutout on Instagram, praising his hard work on the film.
