JK BOSE Announces Class 10th Date-Sheet; 15% Syllabus Relaxation for Students
SRINAGAR: The Jammu and Kashmir Board of School Education (JK BOSE) has released the date-sheet for the Class 10th Annual/Regular Examinations 2025 (October–November session). Exams are scheduled to begin on November 3, from 11 am to 2 pm.
Approximately 95,000 students from the Kashmir Division, winter zone areas of Jammu Division, and Ladakh UT are expected to appear for the exams, which the government has restored to the October–November session.
According to the date-sheet:
November 3: Mathematics
November 7: Social Science
November 11: Science
November 14: English
November 17: Urdu/Hindi
November 19: Computer Science
November 21: Vocational subjects
November 23: Home Science
November 24: Additional/Optional subjects including Kashmiri, Dogri, Bhoti, Punjabi, Arabic, Urdu, Hindi, Persian, Sanskrit
November 25: Music
November 27: Painting/Art and Drawing
In view of disruptions caused by the heat wave, torrential rains, cloudbursts, and floods, JK BOSE has granted a 15% syllabus relaxation, making 85% of the syllabus equivalent to 100%.
JK BOSE has urged students to prepare diligently and reaffirmed its commitment to conduct the exams with high transparency. The board also called upon invigilators to maintain professionalism to safeguard exam integrity and requested the School Education Department to provide full support for smooth and fair conduct of the examinations.
