SRINAGAR: Divisional Commissioner Kashmir, Anshul Garg, today chaired a meeting to review the functioning of the Rakhs and Farms Department and discuss related issues.
The meeting was attended by the Director Rakhs and Farms, Assistant Commissioner Central, General Manager Government Press, Assistant Director Rakhs and Farms, OSD to Divisional Commissioner, Deputy Director Archives, Archaeology and Museums, and officers from the Revenue Department.
During the meeting, the Divisional Commissioner directed the officers to compile comprehensive details regarding the quantum of land under the department’s possession, revenue records, and the rules and orders governing its operations. He also emphasized documenting the procedures related to land utilization, supervision, legal orders, acquisition rules, and encroachment matters.
Furthermore, the Divisional Commissioner instructed the formation of a committee to address the various issues faced by the department.
