Srinagar: Continuing its intensified campaign to dismantle the terror ecosystem and curb unlawful activities, Srinagar Police on Friday carried out extensive raids at multiple locations across the city. The searches targeted residences of terrorist associates and overground workers (OGWs) linked with proscribed organisations, as part of ongoing investigations under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA).
According to officials, the coordinated operations were conducted across various areas of Srinagar to identify individuals suspected of facilitating, aiding, or abetting terror-related activities.
Raids were conducted at the residences of the following individuals:

The searches were conducted strictly in accordance with legal procedures, in the presence of Executive Magistrates and independent witnesses, and under the supervision of senior J&K Police officers.
Police said the objective was to seize incriminating material—such as documents, digital devices, and other evidence—relevant to ongoing investigations. The raids are part of a broader intelligence-gathering effort aimed at pre-empting and disrupting potential terrorist conspiracies or activities that could endanger public peace and national security.
This decisive operation, police said, highlights the Srinagar Police’s unwavering commitment to identifying and taking firm legal action against individuals involved in promoting or supporting terror-related or anti-national activities.
“Srinagar Police remains steadfast in its mission to safeguard peace, stability, and public order in the city. Anyone found aiding or abetting unlawful or violent acts will face strict legal consequences,” the statement added.
