SRINAGAR: Haris Ahmad Handoo, Special Secretary in the Chief Minister’s Secretariat, today took charge as the Director of the Sher-i-Kashmir International Conference Centre (SKICC).
On his arrival, the SKICC staff extended a warm welcome to the new Director. After assuming charge, Handoo held a brief interaction with the officers and employees of the centre.
During the interaction, he underscored the importance of maintaining SKICC’s stature as a premier venue for national and international events. He urged the staff to work with dedication to promote SKICC as a hub for conferences, cultural programs, and global collaborations that showcase the scenic beauty and cultural heritage of Jammu and Kashmir.
“SKICC has always stood as a symbol of excellence and hospitality in the region,” he remarked, assuring the employees that all issues concerning the smooth functioning of the institution would be addressed promptly.
The staff, in turn, expressed their full support to the new Director and reaffirmed their commitment to upholding the legacy of this prestigious conference centre.
