Samba/Jammu: Security forces have launched a search operation after two Pakistani drones were spotted hovering over forward villages along the International Border in Jammu and Kashmir’s Samba district, officials said on Saturday.
According to officials, the drones were sighted late Friday night over Challiyari village in the Ghagwal area and Chamliyal village in Ramgarh.
Following the sightings, the Border Security Force (BSF) cordoned off both areas and, along with the police, began a search operation early Saturday to rule out any possible airdropping of weapons or narcotics.
The search operations were still underway when the last reports came in, the officials added.
