Rajouri: Reinforcing its steadfast commitment to community engagement and youth empowerment, the Indian Army organized a special Awareness Programme on Empowerment and Job Opportunities for Children at Gunda, District Rajouri, on 11 October 2025.
The initiative aimed to motivate and guide the younger generation towards a brighter and self-reliant future. A total of 52 students, along with parents, teachers, and local dignitaries, actively participated in the event, making it a resounding success.
The programme focused on educating youth from rural and remote areas about diverse career avenues, including opportunities in the Indian Armed Forces. Detailed information was shared on recruitment schemes such as Agniveer, National Defence Academy (NDA), Technical Entry Scheme (TES), and Women Entry Schemes. Additionally, participants were introduced to career prospects in civil services, education, healthcare, entrepreneurship, and vocational trades.
Army officials interacted with the students, highlighting the importance of education, discipline, and self-confidence as essential pillars of success. Motivational talks, interactive sessions, and dedicated career guidance booths provided practical insights and inspiration for the participants to pursue their ambitions with determination.
The initiative once again underscored the Indian Army’s enduring dedication to empowering youth and fostering holistic community development, particularly in border and remote regions.
