JAMMU: Several commercial buildings were damaged following a landslide in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir on Sunday, officials said.
The incident occurred around 11:30 am at Narsoo market in the Somroli area along the Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, damaging a newly opened hotel and a few shops, they added.
Officials confirmed that no casualties were reported as all structures in the market were evacuated before the landslide completely destroyed them.
