New Delhi: Ravindra Jadeja broke a resilient 177-run stand by removing centurion John Campbell, but West Indies continued to show fight on the fourth morning, reaching 252 for 3 at lunch in their second innings of the second Test against India on Monday.
Campbell (115 off 199 balls, 12 fours, 3 sixes) brought up his maiden Test century with a six over long-on before falling leg-before to Jadeja (1/75) in the 63rd over. His dismissal ended a crucial third-wicket partnership with Shai Hope, who remained unbeaten on 92 (189 balls, 10 fours, 2 sixes).
At the interval, Hope and captain Roston Chase (23 not out) were guiding the visitors, who still trailed India by 18 runs after following on.
