Srinagar: Jammu and Kashmir BJP President and senior leader Sat Sharma (CA) on Monday submitted his nomination papers for the Rajya Sabha elections in Srinagar.
Sharma, accompanied by several senior BJP leaders, arrived at the office of the Returning Officer and filed his nomination amid a strong display of party support.
The move marks part of the BJP’s formal process for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls, with Sharma nominated as the party’s official candidate from the Union Territory.
