Poonch: One person was killed and another injured when a Tata Mobile vehicle met with an accident in the Dingla area of Poonch district on Monday.
According to officials, the accident involved a Tata Mobile bearing registration number JK08F-7490, which reportedly went out of control and crashed, resulting in the death of one occupant on the spot.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Rafiq, son of Sattar Din, aged around 60 years, while the injured person has been identified as Mohd Saif, son of Abdul Barhan, officials said.
Police and local residents rushed to the scene and shifted the injured to a nearby hospital for treatment. A case has been registered, and an investigation into the incident is underway.
