CHANDIGARH: The Border Security Force (BSF) on Monday recovered two AK-47 rifles and ammunition near the India-Pakistan border in Punjab’s Tarn Taran district.
In addition to the rifles, BSF personnel seized two magazines, a pistol, and several live rounds, a BSF official said.
“Early this morning, acting on inputs from the technical surveillance grid and corroborated by physical monitoring by troops on duty, BSF personnel swiftly recovered a large cache of weapons ahead of the border fence near Mehdipur village in Tarn Taran district,” the official added.
