Shah Rukh, Aryan Khan Share Behind-the-Scenes Glimpse of ‘The Ba*ds of Bollywood’**
Mumbai: Following the massive success of The Ba**ds of Bollywood*, Shah Rukh Khan treated fans to a behind-the-scenes (BTS) video from the hit series, showcasing son Aryan Khan in action as a director.
Sharing the clip on their Instagram handles, Shah Rukh and Aryan offered a closer look at the making of the show — featuring Aryan directing actors, enacting scenes, and interacting with the cast and crew on set.
The video opens with Shah Rukh’s voiceover saying, “Bollywood—a city of dreams. But this city doesn’t belong to all.” It then cuts to Aryan behind the camera, capturing an intense action sequence.
The star-studded series features Arshad Warsi, Bobby Deol, Karan Johar, and others. Praising Aryan’s directorial style, Arshad Warsi said, “He is one of those directors who cannot think small. He thinks big and shoots in detail.”
Emraan Hashmi, who also stars in the show, added, “He’s a stickler for perfection. He knows exactly what he wants, and I really admire that in a director.”
The BTS video also shows Aryan performing a stunt himself—rolling down a staircase—alongside glimpses of Raghav Juyal, Lakshya, Bobby Deol, and Badshah. It even teases the making of Aamir Khan’s scene from the series.
In the caption, Shah Rukh humorously wrote, “Episodes toh bohot hai, par behind-the-scenes sirf ek!” (There are many episodes, but only one behind-the-scenes!). The father-son duo also introduced Instagram’s new password-protected post feature through the upload.
The Ba**ds of Bollywood* marks Aryan Khan’s directorial debut. The seven-episode Netflix series follows Aasmaan Singh (played by Lakshya), an ambitious newcomer chasing stardom, supported by his best friend Parvaiz (Raghav Juyal) and manager Sanya (Anya Singh), as he navigates the glittering yet ruthless world of fame.
