Mumbai: Ajay Devgn and Rakul Preet Singh are back to deliver laughter and chaos in De De Pyaar De 2. The much-awaited sequel sees the duo reprise their roles as Ashish and Ayesha, promising a fresh dose of humour, romance, and family drama.
In the trailer, Ajay’s Ashish tries to win over his girlfriend Ayesha’s parents—played by R Madhavan and Gautami Kapoor—leading to a series of hilarious misunderstandings. The twist unfolds when Ayesha lies about Ashish’s age, setting the stage for more confusion and comedy. The entry of Meezaan Jafri and Jaaved Jaaferi adds another layer of fun and drama.
The trailer showcases witty banter and laugh-out-loud moments, particularly between Ajay and his on-screen in-laws. In one scene, Ashish hilariously debates whether to call his mother-in-law Bhabhi ji or Mummy ji, capturing the film’s playful tone.
Directed by Anshul Sharma and produced by Bhushan Kumar and Krishan Kumar of T-Series along with Luv Ranjan and Ankur Garg of Luv Films, De De Pyaar De 2 follows the success of the 2019 original directed by Akiv Ali.
The first film, starring Ajay Devgn, Rakul Preet Singh, and Tabu, was a box-office hit, exploring the challenges of a middle-aged man’s relationship with a much younger woman.
De De Pyaar De 2 is slated to hit theatres on November 14.
