Kupwara: Lieutenant Governor Manoj Sinha today visited ‘Roshan Mustaqbil’, a youth empowerment centre at Zangli, established by the Indian Army’s Vajr Division to nurture local talent through education, skill development, and livelihood opportunities.
He was accompanied by Major General K. Mohan Nair, YSM, SM, General Officer Commanding, Vajr Division, along with other senior officers.
At present, the centre has over 690 youth enrolled, working towards building a better future for themselves and the community. The facility is equipped with classrooms for competitive exam preparation, digital learning and computer labs, a library and reading room, as well as a tourism and hospitality training section. It also houses an entrepreneurship incubation unit with market linkages.

Emerging as a vibrant hub blending sports, Kashmiri culture, and modern aspirations, Roshan Mustaqbil has become a symbol of hope and progress. Within a short period, it has achieved remarkable success, with trained youth securing placements across the country. The centre has also promoted revenue-generating startups, advanced women’s digital participation, and strengthened the spirit of national integration.
