Jammu: Security forces on Thursday launched a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Udhampur district following reports of suspicious movement, officials said.
The operation began after locals in Kirchi village of the Latti-Dudu area reported that some suspected individuals had entered a house and fled with cash.
Forces have been placed on high alert, and residents have been urged to report any suspicious activity in their surroundings.
Terrorist activity has been reported in the Dudu-Basantgarh area over the past several months.
