Land, Two-Storey House of Pakistan-Based Terror Handler Seized in Bandipora

Srinagar: Authorities on Thursday attached the property of an alleged Pakistan-based terror handler under the Unlawful Activities (Prevention) Act (UAPA) in Budgam district, police said.

According to a police spokesperson, the property, comprising 10 marlas of land and a two-storey residential house located in Sandipora area of central Kashmir’s Budgam, belongs to Muzaffar Hussain Allie, a resident of the same village.

Police said Allie had crossed over to Pakistan and was using the property to further terror activities. During investigation, it was found that he was attempting to sell the property and use the proceeds to fund terrorism, the spokesperson added.

The attachment was carried out under Section 25 of the UAPA. Allie, currently based in Pakistan, remains actively involved in anti-national activities, police said.
