Kabul [Afghanistan]: At around 3:44 PM on Wednesday, Pakistan carried out an airstrike on residential areas in District 4 of Kabul city, inflicting heavy damage on several homes, Tolo News reported.

Abdul Rahim, a 50-year-old resident whose house was among those struck, said his family of six narrowly escaped the attack. Although they were not home at the time, the incident left them deeply traumatized.

“This brutal attack by Pakistan is evident to all. They have repeatedly violated our sovereignty. That was my daughter’s room that was hit. None of our neighbors are even military personnel,” Rahim told Tolo News.

Another resident, Habibullah, recalled the chaos and fear that gripped his family.

“Our family was terrified. When the house was struck by a rocket, they didn’t know what to do,” he said.

A nearby school, accommodating more than 500 students in 50 classrooms, was also damaged in the strike. Fortunately, classes had ended for the day, and no casualties were reported.

Mohammad Sadiq, a school official, expressed heartbreak over the damage.

“When families and students returned today, many were in tears. This is a civilian educational space—what crime did this school commit?” he asked.

Student Ahmad Mobasher said the scene left him devastated.

“When we came today and saw the school like this, our hearts broke. Just days ago, we were studying and laughing here together,” he said.

Eyewitnesses described widespread panic among residents, especially women and children.

“People were terrified and desperate to flee,” said Saeed Hakimyar, a local witness.

According to credible sources cited by Tolo News, the Pakistani airstrike targeted parts of Kabul, resulting in the deaths and injuries of several civilians, including women and children. The incident has left the local community in shock, with many struggling to cope with the destruction of their homes and the school.
