Mumbai: The supernatural drama–mystery film Baramulla, set against the haunting backdrop of Kashmir, is slated for release on November 7.

According to a press statement, Manav Kaul plays DSP Ridwaan Sayyad, a police officer drawn into a chilling investigation involving missing children. The film also features Bhasha Sumbli as Gulnaar.

Baramulla is directed and written by Aditya Suhas Jambhale, the acclaimed filmmaker behind Article 370, with the story by Aditya Dhar. The project is co-produced by Dhar and Lokesh Dhar under B62 Studios.

Sharing insights about the film, director Aditya Suhas Jambhale said,

“With Baramulla, we wanted to tell a story that blends emotion, tension, and the supernatural. Kashmir isn’t just a setting—it’s a living, breathing character that influences every mystery and every heartbeat of the story. We hope audiences across the world feel the pulse of the valley and the humanity driving this journey.”

Ruchikaa Kapoor Sheikh, Director of Original Films at Netflix India, added,

“We are drawn to stories that push creative boundaries—those that surprise, challenge, and linger with audiences. Baramulla is a rare supernatural thriller that is both suspenseful and deeply emotional. At its core, it’s about people—their choices, fears, and the lengths they go to protect what they love. Director Aditya Suhas Jambhale, along with Aditya and Lokesh Dhar at B62 Studios and Jio Studios, have created a cinematic experience that feels bold, layered, and refreshingly original.”
