Mumbai: The Diwali special episode of Bigg Boss 19 was full of festive cheer, but what truly grabbed viewers’ attention was the growing bond between contestants Baseer Ali and Nehal Chudasama.
The episode featured singer Altaf Raja, who set the mood with his evergreen hits, getting housemates to groove and celebrate the festival in high spirits. Amid the fun, the spotlight soon shifted to Baseer and Nehal’s budding chemistry.
During the celebration, contestant Tanya Mittal was heard commenting that Baseer and Nehal make a “better pair,” sparking fresh gossip in the house. Observing their playful exchanges, senior contestant Kunickaa Sadanand advised them, saying, “Live in the moment and enjoy. Jaise hi plan karna shuru karoge, it will get spoiled.” To this, Baseer quipped, “Who plans?”
Later that evening, the duo was seen sharing a light moment at the dining table. In a candid chat with Nehal and Kunickaa, Baseer revealed his idea of an ideal relationship, saying, “Koi aisa mil jaye who is like me — a bit toxic, a bit extra, a bit crazy — then I know this is the balance. I don’t want a plain vanilla relationship. I like choco chips, tutty fruity.”
Meanwhile, Farrhana Bhatt, who shares a love-hate equation with Baseer, expressed her opinion: “Baseer ke side se fakeness lag rahi hai, Nehal ka pata nahi. Mujhe lagta hai meri vajah se shayad inka start nahi ho raha.”
Outside the house, the show continues to entertain fans, with contestants forming distinct alliances as competition intensifies.
This season’s theme, ‘Gharwalon Ki Sarkaar,’ features popular faces like Gaurav Khanna, Kunickaa Sadanand, Ashnoor Kaur, Amaal Mallik, Tanya Mittal, Baseer Ali, Malti Chahar, Nehal Chudasama, Mridul, Farrhana Bhatt, Pranit More, and Shehbaz Badesha — all vying for the coveted Bigg Boss 19 trophy.
Hosted by Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 19 streams on JioHotstar at 9 p.m., followed by its TV telecast on Colors TV at 10:30 p.m.
