Soha Ali Khan turns Diwali prep into family fun with heartwarming moments
Mumbai: Actress Soha Ali Khan offered a delightful glimpse into her Diwali preparations, transforming the festive hustle into moments filled with joy and togetherness.
Sharing a cheerful video on social media, Soha captioned it, “Diwali prep can be stressful or it can be fun if you get everyone involved — except Oreo, who kept stealing all the diyas! Especially if you have Ankita, our decor fairy for all seasons.”
The video shows Soha decorating her home with marigold garlands and colourful rangolis, joined by her daughter Inaya Naomi Kemmu, sister-in-law Kareena Kapoor Khan, mother-in-law Jyoti Kemmu, and father-in-law Ravi Kemmu.
Dressed in a vibrant pink ethnic outfit, Soha radiates festive grace as she leads the preparations — from setting up the puja space and arranging diyas to making rangolis with her daughter. The clip captures laughter, warmth, and genuine family bonding throughout.
The heartwarming visuals also include Soha sharing affectionate moments with her mother-in-law and posing with her family, evoking a ‘Hum Saath Saath Hain’ vibe.
Soha, who hails from a royal Muslim family, has beautifully embraced diverse traditions after marrying actor Kunal Kemmu. The couple, who wed in 2015, celebrate every festival — from Eid and Christmas to Diwali — with equal enthusiasm, teaching their daughter to value all faiths.
Earlier, during Ganesh Chaturthi, Soha was seen helping Inaya sculpt a clay idol of Lord Ganesha, followed by an eco-friendly visarjan. She captioned the post, “A gentle farewell but a lasting blessing. Wishing you all prosperous new beginnings, joy, and harmony with nature.”
