Srinagar: The body of a 47-year-old man who jumped into the River Jhelum on October 20 was recovered on Sunday near the Veer Chatabal area of Srinagar, officials said.
The deceased has been identified as Rafiq Ahmed Ahanger, son of Mohd Jamal, a resident of Dalal Mohalla, Zaina Kadal.
Officials said the body was shifted to SMHS Hospital for radiological examination after completion of medico-legal formalities.
