Jammu: Lieutenant General P.K. Mishra, General Officer Commanding (GOC) White Knight Corps, accompanied by Major General Kaushik Mukherjee, GOC Ace of Spades Division, visited forward areas along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Poonch and Nowshera sectors on Wednesday to review the security situation and evaluate the operational preparedness of troops stationed in the region.
During the visit, the commanders interacted with field officers and soldiers, commending their vigilance, professionalism, and commitment to maintaining a strong security grid despite challenging terrain and weather conditions.
Lt. Gen. Mishra urged all ranks to remain resolute, maintain an aggressive defensive posture, and strengthen surveillance efforts to safeguard the nation’s borders in the prevailing security environment. He also emphasized the importance of high morale, coordination, and readiness to effectively respond to any emerging threats along the LoC.
