Mahindra & Mahindra posts 26% rise in total auto sales to 1,20,142 units in October
New Delhi: Mahindra & Mahindra Ltd (M&M) on Saturday reported a 26 per cent year-on-year increase in total auto sales to 1,20,142 units in October 2025.
The company’s domestic passenger vehicle sales rose 31 per cent to 71,624 units, compared to 54,504 units in the same month last year, M&M said in a regulatory filing. Domestic commercial vehicle sales climbed 14 per cent to 31,741 units.
“In October, we achieved our highest-ever monthly SUV sales at 71,624 units, reflecting a robust 31 per cent growth,” said Nalinikanth Gollagunta, CEO, Automotive Division, M&M.
In the farm equipment segment, total tractor sales rose 13 per cent to 73,660 units, up from 65,453 units a year ago. Domestic tractor sales stood at 72,071 units, an increase of 12 per cent over 64,326 units sold in October 2024.
Exports for the month jumped 41 per cent to 1,589 units.
“A favourable monsoon and the GST rate cut announced in September have boosted demand through September and October,” said Veejay Nakra, President, Farm Equipment Business, M&M. He added that timely Rabi sowing and steady Kharif harvesting are expected to further support tractor sales in the coming months.
