Omar Abdullah Appreciates SBI’s Noble Gesture, Calls It Service Beyond Banking

JAMMU: Chief Minister Omar Abdullah today lauded the State Bank of India (SBI) for its generous contribution of ₹1.55 crore to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund, describing it as a remarkable act of solidarity and service extending beyond banking.

A deputation from SBI, led by Jayant Mani, Deputy General Manager (Business and Operations) and Controlling Head for Jammu & Kashmir and Ladakh, called on the Chief Minister at the Civil Secretariat, Jammu, and handed over the cheque.

Expressing gratitude to the SBI team, Omar Abdullah said the contribution exemplifies the bank’s strong sense of social responsibility and its enduring commitment to the welfare of the people of Jammu and Kashmir.
