Mumbai: As National Award-winning actress Tabu turned 54 on Tuesday, veteran actor Jackie Shroff extended his warm wishes to her while also marking three years since the release of his film Phone Bhoot, starring Katrina Kaif, Ishaan Khatter, and Siddhant Chaturvedi.
Taking to Instagram Stories, Jackie shared a video montage of Tabu’s pictures set to the song Boondon Se Baaten from her 1999 film Thakshak, directed by Govind Nihalani and co-starring Ajay Devgn and Rahul Bose.
For the caption, Jackie—who has worked with Tabu in films like Kohram and 2001: Do Hazaar Ek—wrote, “#happybirthday @tabutiful.”
The actor also revisited a scene from his 2022 horror-comedy Phone Bhoot, directed by Gurmmeet Singh, which follows two friends who start a ghost-catching business but soon find themselves entangled in supernatural chaos after a deal with a ghost goes awry.
Up next, Jackie will be seen in Ahmed Khan’s upcoming comedy Welcome To The Jungle, featuring an ensemble cast including Akshay Kumar, Sanjay Dutt, Suniel Shetty, Arshad Warsi, Paresh Rawal, Raveena Tandon, Disha Patani, Lara Dutta, Jacqueline Fernandez, Shreyas Talpade, Aftab Shivdasani, and several others.
A regular on social media, Jackie is known for celebrating milestones and sending wishes to his industry friends. Recently, he marked the one-year anniversary of Singham Again by sharing a clip from the Rohit Shetty directorial, starring Ajay Devgn, and captioned it, “#OneYearofSinghamAgain.”
Singham Again, the fifth installment in Shetty’s Cop Universe, also features Kareena Kapoor Khan, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Deepika Padukone, Tiger Shroff, and Arjun Kapoor. The film draws parallels to the Ramayana, with Bajirao Singham embarking on a mission to rescue his wife while confronting a powerful and enigmatic villain.
