Novak Djokovic has confirmed his participation in the upcoming ATP Finals in Turin, according to Italy’s tennis federation president Angelo Binaghi. The announcement ends speculation that the 24-time Grand Slam champion might skip the season-ending tournament.

Currently ranked world number five, Djokovic withdrew from last year’s Finals due to injury and has not competed since his semifinal loss to qualifier Valentin Vacherot at the Shanghai Masters last month. He also missed the Paris Masters this season.

“We have confirmation that Djokovic will be in Turin,” Binaghi told Italian radio station Rai Gr Parlamento on Monday.

The ATP Finals, scheduled for November 9–16, bring together the world’s top eight players. Djokovic, 38, holds a record seven titles at the event, most recently lifting the trophy in 2023.

With Djokovic’s participation confirmed, only one qualifying spot remains. Canada’s Felix Auger-Aliassime, ranked eighth, and Italy’s Lorenzo Musetti, ranked ninth, are vying for the final place. Auger-Aliassime, who reached the Paris Masters final last week, pulled out of the Moselle Open in Metz on Monday — giving Musetti a chance to qualify if he wins this week’s ATP 250 event in Athens.
