New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday said that the people of Bihar have resolved to deliver the NDA its biggest electoral victory in the past two decades, while the “jungle raj” camp would face its worst-ever defeat in the state.

Addressing women BJP-NDA workers in Bihar via the NaMo App, Modi said his rallies in the state are drawing unprecedented crowds, particularly large turnouts of women. “The women workers of Bihar BJP are doing excellent work with the spirit of ‘Mera Booth, Sabse Mazboot’,” he noted.

The prime minister said he has been closely observing the election trends and is confident of a sweeping NDA win. “There is no doubt about victory — now the focus should be on ensuring higher voter turnout,” he added.

Responding to a BJP worker who spoke about the overwhelming public enthusiasm for the NDA, Modi said her words reflect the sentiments of the poor, Dalits, Maha Dalits, backward and extremely backward communities.

“The people of Bihar have made up their minds to create a record-breaking victory for the NDA, while those representing ‘jungle raj’ will suffer their most humiliating defeat,” he said.

Modi has often invoked the term “jungle raj” to target the Mahagathbandhan, referring to the RJD governments led by Lalu Prasad Yadav and Rabri Devi.

He also reiterated the NDA government’s commitment to enhancing the ease of living and empowering women across the country.

Bihar votes in two phases on November 6 and 11, with counting scheduled for November 14. The INDIA bloc has announced RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav as its chief ministerial candidate.
