Plantation Drive organized at GBHSS Mantrigam to mark Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas
BANDIPORA: A plantation drive was organized at Government Boys Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) Mantrigam under the aegis of the Social Forestry Range Bandipora as part of the celebrations for Janjatiya Gaurav Diwas.
The event, held with the theme of promoting environmental conservation and preserving cultural heritage, aimed to spread awareness about the importance of protecting the environment and recognizing the vital role tribal communities play in conservation efforts.
Students and members of the local community actively participated in the drive by planting saplings and learning about sustainable environmental practices.
